Terms
Terms of Sale
and Service
The rules for buying a Kiri pouch, subscribing to Kiri+, and using the Kiri app. We’ve kept them as plain as we can.
Last updated: November 5, 2026
The short version
- Kiri helps you carry allergy medication and share your care plan. It is not a medical device and does not call emergency services.
- The pouch is a one-time purchase. Shipping in the US is free, and you have 30 days to return it.
- Kiri+ is optional. It renews automatically each month or year until you cancel, and you can cancel online at any time.
- Your family’s data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are and when these terms apply
These terms are an agreement between you and Kiri Products, Inc., 4340 E Indian School Rd Ste 21, Phoenix, AZ 85018, United States(“Kiri”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you buy from carrykiri.com, subscribe to Kiri+, or use the Kiri app, the Kiri pouch and its sensor, or a Kiri allergy profile shared by link or QR code (together, the “Services”). By placing an order or using the Services, you agree to them.
You must be 18 or older to place an order or subscribe. Kiri accounts are for people 13 and older; a parent or guardian is responsible for any account they create or manage for a child or teen.
2. Kiri is not a medical device
Kiri is a carry, reminder and information tool. It supports the care plan your physician gives you; it does not replace it, diagnose anything, or tell you how to treat a reaction.
- Kiri does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, follow your care plan and call 911.
- Alerts depend on things outside our control: Bluetooth, your phone’s battery, operating-system and notification settings, location permissions and network coverage. An alert can be late or not arrive. Always carry your medication as prescribed, whether or not Kiri alerts you.
- Temperature readings come from a sensor in the pouch, not from the medication itself. Check your medication’s condition and expiry date as your physician and the manufacturer advise.
- You are responsible for keeping the information in your profile accurate, including medication, doses and emergency contacts.
3. Orders, prices and payment
- Prices are in US dollars and include free standard shipping within the United States. Sales tax is added at checkout where required.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your order is accepted when we email you a confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, for example when an item is out of stock, a price was shown in error, or we suspect fraud. If we do, we refund anything you paid in full.
- We currently sell and ship to customers in the United States only.
4. Shipping, returns and warranty
Shipping, order changes and our 30-day return policy are on Shipping & Returns. Defects after that are covered by our 12-month limited warranty. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the pouch is delivered.
5. Kiri+ subscription
Kiri+ is an optional subscription that adds features to the Kiri app, such as care-circle sharing and smart alerts. The pouch and your QR emergency profile work without it.
- Automatic renewal. Kiri+ is billed monthly or yearly, as you choose at checkout. It renews automatically at the end of each period and we charge the payment method on file at the price then in effect, until you cancel.
- Free trials. If an offer includes a free trial, checkout shows when the trial ends and what you’ll be charged after it. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.
- How to cancel. Cancel online at any time with the “Manage subscription” link in your Kiri+ receipt email, which opens our secure billing page, or email hello@carrykiri.com and we’ll cancel it for you. You keep Kiri+ until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and we’re not charging you again after that.
- Refunds. Payments for a period that has started are not refunded, except where the law requires it or as described for pouch returns on Shipping & Returns.
- Reminders and price changes. We email you before each yearly renewal. If the Kiri+ price changes, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we’ll ask you to update your payment method. If it isn’t updated, Kiri+ ends and your account goes back to the features that come with the pouch.
6. Your account and the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Kiri app for your family’s own use while these terms apply. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
When you invite someone to your care circle, they can see the profile information you give them access to, and you can remove them at any time. You can delete your account in the app; our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you do.
7. The QR code and shared profiles
The QR code on your pouch and any profile link you share open the emergency information you chose to make visible. Anyone who has the code or the link can see that information without an account. You decide what is shown, and you can stop sharing at any time in the app.
8. Using Kiri fairly
Please don’t:
- Use the Services to break the law or to harm, track or monitor someone without their permission.
- Try to access accounts, profiles or systems that aren’t yours, or interfere with how the Services work.
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app or the pouch firmware, except where the law allows it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close an account with an active Kiri+ subscription for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the period.
9. Changes to the Services
We keep improving Kiri, so features may change. We won’t remove the QR emergency profile from a pouch you own. If we ever stop offering Kiri+, we’ll tell you in advance and refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Apart from our limited warranty and rights you have under law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, Kiri is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some states don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, please email hello@carrykiri.com first; most problems are solved quickly that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This doesn’t take away protections you have under the consumer laws of the state where you live.
12. Changes to these terms
We’ll post any change here with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects you, for example how Kiri+ is billed, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Orders already placed stay under the terms that applied when you placed them.
