Why we built this
Built by allergy parents,
for allergy families.
A decade of learning to live with the weight of it — and a product built from everything we learned.
The story
A decade of learning to live with the weight of it
When our son was diagnosed with severe allergies at four months old, we had no idea what we were in for.
What followed was a decade of learning to live — really live — with the weight of it. The friend’s birthday cakes that put a knot in your stomach. The playdate drop-offs where you check the bag three times. The background worry that lives behind meals, playdates, and new restaurants.
“We’ve used an epinephrine auto-injector more than once. It’s never easy, and it can happen when you least expect it.”
We spent nearly a decade building a system that worked. For families, for caregivers, for every adult responsible for allergy safety. A system that makes handoffs feel calm. That helps anyone, anywhere, act with confidence during an allergy emergency.
Kiri is that system. Built from necessity. Refined through experience. Given to you with everything we’ve learned. Your family, and every allergy family out there, deserves to feel prepared.

Our mission
Make preparedness effortless for every allergy family.
Allergy management is mostly invisible work. The mental checklist. The constant double-checking. The five-minute briefing before every drop-off. We’re building a product that absorbs that work into the pouch itself, so the people who carry the medicine also carry the plan.
What we believe
Our values
Calm by default. Loud only when it matters.
A safety product that nags you stops being a safety product. Kiri stays out of the way day to day, and only reaches out when there's a real reason — a left-behind alert, an expiry reminder, a temperature warning. We don't manufacture engagement.
The plan travels with the medicine.
Allergy care can't live in one parent's head. Whoever has the pouch — a coach, a teacher, a grandparent — should be able to act. The QR code, the care plan, and the alerts all serve that single idea.
We don't pretend to be a medical device.
Kiri supports a care plan written by your physician. It does not replace one, and it never will. We say so on the pouch, in the app, and on every page of this site.
Your family's data is yours.
We do not sell it. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train models. Health information belongs with the people it describes.
Built for the day you hope never comes.
Most days, nothing happens. We design for the day something does. Every materials choice, every alert threshold, every interaction goes through that filter.

In development
What’s next for Kiri
Kiri is being designed as more than a single pouch. Development is underway on additional pouch designs and colors that make allergy care easier across school, sports, travel, and daily life.
Designed as a system. Built to grow with your family.
